Hawkins Insulation was founded in Yuba City, California in 1956 by Bill and Irene Hawkins. From the very beginning, the focus of the business was a quality installation at a fair price. Every effort was made to keep a customer for a lifetime. During the 60’s and 70’s, the company continued to stretch its boundaries to service the new construction industry in Northern California.

In the 80’s, Hawkins Insulation expanded its product line to include windows and eventually opened up two branch offices to help service a growing market.

It was during the 90’s that Hawkins eventually overlapped into the residential home improvement market. With the popularity of low maintenance, energy efficient retrofit products, came a successful fit into the Hawkins service philosophy.

As the Company entered the new millennium, it was poised for major growth. While window replacement became its backbone, entry doors, siding and patio covers helped complete the home exterior package. Its market area grew to include the entire north and central valley’s and is now one of the largest home improvement companies in Northern California.

Today, the company name has changed to Hawkins Exteriors, but the vision for offering new products and techniques remains the same.
